What Are The Most Frequently Asked Questions?

The minimum age for expedition members is 18. If you are under 18, you must have a legal guardian on the trip with you.
The way the donation was given will determine how long it takes to be reflected in your portal. If a donation was given using a custom donation page, it should show within just a few minutes. A donation given through our website will show within 48 hours, and donations given via check are usually reflected within 4-5 business days, once we receive the check at our WHQ. If you don’t see a donation within 10 business days, please reach out.
A donation may not automatically process for several reasons. Please go to your giving page to check if your CC is expired, or if you need to update your billing address. If you still have questions, please contact us on the form below.
To get started, please visit overlandmissions.com, click “Login” at the top of the page, and then select “Sign Up” at the bottom of the pop-up box.Once you’ve created your account, the system will prompt you to link your account to any current giving. One of our administrators will take care of this step for you. After your account is linked, you’ll be able to view your giving history, update payment preferences, and manage your donations with ease.
You can view your most recent giving by going to https://overlandmissions.com/profile#YourGiving. The missionary’s name will be listed in the “designation” line.
After adding a new card or bank account, you’ll be prompted to apply it to your recurring donations. If you miss that button, you can update the payment method on each donation in the Recurring Donations section. If you get stuck, reach out and we can send a simple step-by-step guide.
You can update your Recurring Gift Settings online. You’ll find it in the donor portal under My Giving > Recurring Gift Settings. Alternatively, call our office at (321) 452-9696 to make changes to your credit card or giving.
Yes, Overland is a 501c3 (EIN: 59-3648501) and all donations are considered tax deductible.
If you submitted a donation and weren’t logged into your existing donor account, you can link that donation by going to “Your giving” in your profile and selecting “Link existing donations”.
